Java FS Lead/Architect – Hybrid. We are looking for a highly skilled Full Stack Lead/Architect. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Java, Spring boot, PL/SQL, and Blockchain. This role encompasses leadership responsibilities, including different planning strategies. By ensuring robust and efficient system operations, the candidate will play a key role in advancing our company’s mission.

Forth Mill, SC – USA (Hybrid) Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.) Responsibilities Design and develop robust architecture using Spring Boot and Java to meet business requirements and enhance system performance. Implement efficient PL/SQL solutions to optimize database interactions and ensure data integrity. Explore and integrate Blockchain technologies to innovate and secure transactional processes. Collaborate with multi-functional teams to align architectural solutions with business objectives. Conduct thorough analysis of existing systems to identify areas for improvement and propose strategic enhancements. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers to foster skill development and project success. Make sure to follow industry standards for software development and architecture. Develop comprehensive documentation for architectural designs and technical specifications to support project execution. Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to recommend innovative solutions that drive business growth. Encourage open dialogue between customers to promote agreement and transparency in project aims. Monitor system performance and implement proactive measures to maintain optimal functionality. Lead workshops and training sessions to enhance team knowledge and application of new technologies. Contribute to the company’s mission by delivering solutions that improve asset and wealth management processes. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related, and 8+ years of relevant experience. Possess extensive experience in Spring Boot and Java demonstrating a strong ability to design and implement complex solutions. Have a solid background in PL/SQL showcasing expertise in database management and optimization. Demonstrate knowledge and practical experience in Blockchain technologies with a focus on secure and efficient transactions. Experience in Asset and Wealth Management is highly desirable, providing valuable insights into industry-specific challenges. Exhibit strong analytical skills to assess system performance and find opportunities for improvement. Show talent in user documentation and communication to improve project clarity and execution. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model balancing remote and on-site collaboration during day shifts. Salary and compensation The annual salary for this position is between $81,331k – $141,500K depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
