We specialize in automating rights management and ensuring creators are paid quickly, fairly, and transparently. Our platform, Blue Matter , powers publishing and royalty operations to the scale of 22 Million copyrights and counting. We’re now expanding into new tools and services launching in 2026 that serve the broader music ecosystem, and looking for talented, driven developers to help us achieve our goals and bring new perspectives to our team. Job Description We’re hiring a Full Stack Developer to join our Nashville team. This role is ideal for someone who wants to work at the intersection of music and technology—especially if you’ve worked in music publishing, royalty accounting, or label distribution . You’ll be a key contributor to both new and existing products, working closely with our internal rights management team to iterate on tools and workflows, business development to offer the best services possible to our customers, and help design and implement the next generation of enterprise and indie tools in the music industry. This role is fast-paced and requires someone comfortable navigating between backend infrastructure, data systems, and frontend features in an ever changing environment. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain applications using Angular (or other frontend frameworks) , Python , and SQL/Snowflake Architect scalable systems using AWS (Lambda, ECS, S3, etc.) Support internal rights management teams by building and improving tooling Analyze and work with large music and royalty datasets Leverage ML and LLM technologies to accelerate product capabilities Participate in technical planning and decision-making for upcoming launches Preferred Qualifications 4+ years of full stack development experience Strong backend development skills (Python, REST APIs, data processing) Proficient in modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, or Vue) Advanced SQL skills and production experience with Snowflake or similar platforms like Amazon Redshift Strong grasp of AWS architecture Familiarity with music publishing, music royalties, and/or label/distribution operations Experience seeing products and/or features through from idea to launch Comfortable working closely with cross-functional teams and internal users What We Offer 401(k) with up to 4% company match Fully covered health insurance (for individuals, partial coverage available for couple/family plans) 15 days of PTO and 17 Paid Holiday days ( including 6 straight days off around December holidays, and 2 holidays of employees choice) Office-first culture with remote flexibility as needed A mission-driven environment focused on fairness and innovation in the music industry This is a full-time position located in Nashville, TN.
