64350 About the Role We are seeking a Solutions Architect (Data Architect) to join a strategic initiative for the State of Tennessee’s General Sessions Data Repository . This high-impact project involves building a modern, enterprise-level data warehouse integrating data from courts across Tennessee. You’ll lead the architecture, modeling, and governance efforts—making court data accessible, reliable, and analytics-ready for key stakeholders. Why You Should Apply Hybrid Flexibility

- 12-month engagement with likely extension opportunities Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy & Architecture Define a long-term vision and short-term roadmap for the General Sessions Data Repository.
Lead design of conceptual, logical, and physical data models. Establish and enforce metadata, governance, and data quality standards. Support compliance with federal/state regulations and data security policies. Integration & Development Oversee ETL/ELT processes to integrate diverse court data sources. Ensure successful data migration, system compatibility, and performance tuning. Select tools and technologies to support the data warehouse environment. Stakeholder Collaboration Partner with court operations staff, IT teams, analysts, and vendors. Provide technical guidance and best practices for data modeling and reporting. Act as the go-to resource for data governance, architecture, and reuse strategies. What We’re Looking ForEducation & Certifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related. Certifications (nice to have):
CDMP, AWS
Data Analytics, Microsoft Azure Data Engineer. Experience 5+ years in a data architect or data warehouse architect role. Expertise in data modeling (relational and dimensional), ETL/ELT, and data lifecycle management. Hands-on with platforms like SQL Server , Oracle , and other major databases. Government or judicial systems experience preferred. Technical Knowledge Strong skills in metadata management, performance tuning, and database administration. Proficiency with data warehouse design and reporting structure development. Knowledge of data security, data flow diagrams, and architecture documentation. Soft Skills Clear communicator
- able to explain complex data concepts in plain English.
