Position Requirements:
Formal Education & Certification:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, datascience, or a related field. Relevant certifications in data warehousing, data modeling, ordatabase administration (e.g., Certified Data ManagementProfessional (CDMP), AWS Certified Data Analytics –
Specialty,Microsoft Certified:
Azure Data Engineer Associate) are a plus.
Knowledge & Experience:
5 years of work experience as a data architect, data warehousearchitect, or similar role, with a focus on data integration andreporting. Hands-on experience with data architecting, data modeling(dimensional modeling, relational modeling), ETL/ELT processes, andrequirements gathering/analysis, preferably within a complex dataenvironment. Direct experience in implementing data management processes,procedures, and decision support systems, ideally within agovernment or judicial context.
Database Administration and Performance Tuning:
Knowledge ofdatabase management systems and techniques for optimizingperformance. Strong understanding of relational data structures, theories,principles, and practices, as well as data warehousingconcepts. Demonstrated expertise with data warehouse design, development, anddata and information system lifecycle methodologies. Experience with business requirements analysis, entity-relationshipmodeling, dimensional modeling, database design for reporting andanalytics, and the creation of reporting structures. Ability to manage data migration into a data warehouseenvironment. Experience with various database platforms (e.g., Microsoft SQLServer, Oracle) Understanding of data security principles and best practicesrelevant to sensitive data.
