Position Summary:
We seek a full-time Electrical Engineer and/or Computer Software Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be designing electronic circuits, programming microcontrollers, developing software/hardware systems, and contributing to groundbreaking R D projects. You’ll be part of a hands-on, fun, and flexible startup culture where your ideas matter and creativity is encouraged.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the engineering team on the design and development of custom power amplifiers used to drive arrays of piezoelectric transducers Design, develop, and fabricate electronic circuits Generate Gerber files for PCB production Develop control strategies and program microcontrollers Contribute to product development and prototyping Conducting experiments Document designs, write reports, and present technical findings (approx. 10% of workload in the first year) Design and develop electronic circuits and hardware systems Program and integrate microcontrollers and embedded systems Develop and implement software for hardware applications Conduct technical research and contribute to innovative projects Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to bring new ideas to life Assist in proposal writing and contribute to project planning Support the development of next-generation drying technologies Innovating new consumer product development Expectation of travel: approx 10-15 days per year
Minimum Qualifications:
B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field Solid experience with hardware and software integration Strong foundation in microcontroller programming (e.g., Arduino, STM32, etc.) Strong expertise in circuit design and simulation tools such as LTspice Strong expertise in circuit design and PCB development Power electronics knowledge Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment Hands-on experience troubleshooting electronics Proficiency in microcontroller programming and control implementation Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field Experience in personal electronics design and development Familiarity with grant or proposal writing for R D projects Passion for innovation and startup culture Experience in full product development cycles Familiarity with UL safety standards during product development
