Job Summary
The IT Solution Architect – CRM is a key contributor to the execution of the IT Commercial strategy and CRM roadmap. This role is responsible for designing, delivering, and supporting scalable CRM solutions across global commercial functions, with a focus on Salesforce.com. The Solution Architect collaborates with commercial teams and CRM development teams to ensure solutions meet business needs, are sustainable, and support long-term growth and innovation. The role requires strong technical and strategic leadership, excellent communication skills, and experience operating within large, global enterprises. Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with commercial stakeholders to gather and prioritize CRM requirements and maintain a development backlog
Design CRM solutions across multiple functional areas including Account Planning, Customer Segmentation, Territory Management, Pipeline Management, Marketing Automation, and Service Clou
Lead solution architecture efforts for CRM initiatives in collaboration with technical architects, ensuring alignment with SDLC and enterprise architecture standards
Assess and recommend CRM technologies and innovations that align with business growth strategies
Drive the adoption of CRM solutions and champion best practices across teams
Manage platform-based application development and SaaS deployment lifecycles
Lead and guide Agile delivery teams to fulfill business requirements and objectives
Provide governance across cross-functional and cross-regional implementations
Ensure traceability and quality across requirement baselines and change control processes
Conduct data modeling and design in support of robust CRM data architecture
Define service acceptance criteria and validate project outputs for quality and compliance
Promote the use and understanding of architectural and design standards within the organization
Offer expert guidance and maintain a network of CRM specialists and partners
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field
5-10 years of experience in Salesforce design, implementation, and deployment
Strong knowledge of Salesforce.com architecture and product suite
Experience leading CRM programs in large, multi-national organization
Ability to translate business needs into technical CRM solutions
Hands-on experience managing Agile delivery and working in cross-functional teams
Deep understanding of systems design, data modeling, and requirements management
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
Proficiency in platform-based application development and SaaS operations
Global experience in driving harmonized and standardized technology solutions Preferred Qualifications
Experience in life sciences and/or medical device industries
Familiarity with emerging CRM technologies and integration frameworks
Experience working in a highly matrixed, global organization

Salesforce.com Certified Sales/Service Consultant
Salesforce.com Certified Administrator and/or Developer
ITIL Certification
