Job Description
We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer with deep experience in designing and building scalable, high-performance systems using Java, Spring Boot, React, and cloud-native architectures. This role will play a key part in driving the technical direction for our modern eCommerce platform, helping to shape system architecture, streamline distributed workflows, and lead the development of robust, enterprise-grade solutions. You’ll work closely with engineering, product, and design teams to deliver highly responsive, secure, and maintainable applications. We’re seeking someone who can operate both strategically and hands-on — someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves to solve hard problems, while also influencing long-term platform decisions.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead the design and development of scalable full-stack applications using Java (Spring Boot) for the backend and React with TypeScript on the frontend
- Define system architecture patterns for distributed systems, ensuring resilience, scalability, and maintainability
- Develop and optimize RESTful APIs, microservices, and integration with messaging systems like Kafka, Solace, or Azure Event Hub
- Collaborate with Product and UX teams to translate requirements into technical designs
- Champion best practices in code quality, CI/CD, testing, and performance optimization
- Guide junior engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement
- Participate in architecture reviews, system design discussions, and capacity planning What You Bring to the
Table:
- Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, and React / TypeScript in production systems
- Deep understanding of system design principles, distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud-native patterns
- Experience integrating with event-driven architectures using Kafka, Solace, or similar
- Strong knowledge of API security, identity management, and performance tuning
- Exposure to relational (MySQL) and NoSQL (Couchbase, MongoDB, etc.) databases
- Comfort working in Agile environments, collaborating across teams, and influencing stakeholders
- Ability to balance hands-on development with architectural decision-making
Basic Qualifications:
- 7+ years of full stack development experience with emphasis on Java, Spring Boot, and React
- 3+ years designing distributed, event-driven systems
- Hands-on experience working in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Proficiency with microservices, REST APIs, message queues, and streaming technologies
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Micro Frontends, Headless Commerce platforms, or API gateways
- Familiarity with performance monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog, New Relic), CI/CD (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins), and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes)
- Passion for clean code, system optimization, and simplifying complex problems
- Strong communication and mentoring skills
Need a very senior candidate 12+ years someone who know both architecture and business side as well
Required skills are Java, Spring Boot, React, Cloud and client use Solace so instead of Kafka if someone has Solace that would be great.
