Job Description

DESCRIPTION

Amazon’s Appstore Platform services are highly available, mission critical services, handling a very large number of transactions and having a direct impact on the customer experience. Appstore software excellence vision is to promptly address end customer issues and reduce cost of doing business. Our long range plan is to advance to a product care team which can own legacy business/stack end to end to reduce cost of doing business and purpose bulk of investment towards new Appstore initiatives. As part of our vision the team is working on migrating the existing services to a new infrastructure to more easily manage capacity, scale fleets up and down, lower time spent on operations, lower costs, and gain access to newer AWS features. This role involves working closely with our senior SDEs and principal engineers to design, develop and move to the new setup. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting infrastructure
  • Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust
  • Experience with Linux/Unix
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes
