The Role:
Cognizant is looking for an experienced and innovative Senior Full Stack Developer w/ AWS to serve our diverse base of global clients. Responsibilities :
Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using AWS SQL Spring Boot Java MongoDB and Javascript
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features
Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications
Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
Help maintain code quality organization and automation
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
Work closely with product management to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Implement best practices for software development and ensure adherence to coding standards
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain current and competitive
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process
Ensure that all deliverables meet the required quality standards and project timelines
Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency Qualifications 8 to 12 years of experience as Senior Full stack developer.
Must have strong experience with AWS SQL Spring Boot Java MongoDB and Javascript
Should have a solid understanding of software development principles and methodologies
Must be proficient in designing and developing scalable and maintainable software solutions
Should have experience with version control systems like Git
Must have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
Should have strong communication and collaboration skills
Nice to have experience in Life and Annuities Insurance domain
Should be able to adapt to a hybrid work model and manage time effectively
Must be committed to continuous learning and professional development
Should have a proactive attitude and a strong sense of ownership
Must be able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Should have a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality software
Must be able to provide technical leadership and guidance to the team. Should have very good communication skill and should be able to assess and analyze work with Client independently Applications will be accepted until June 6 2025. The annual salary for this position is between $81,337 – $141,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
