You will lead a teamresponsible for design, development, and verification of advancedinertial navigation systems featuring the world’s mostsophisticated sensors supporting defense aircraft applications. Theposition will focus on attracting, developing, and retaining toptechnical talent while building an operating system to ensureefficient and effective project and department execution.
Thisposition is for the Engineering Manager of the Defense AircraftNavigation Missionizations Software Engineering team reporting tothe Engineering Director for Navigation Software team within theSensing, Guidance, & Navigation Center of Excellence (SGN COE).KeyResponsibilities Employee engagement
- all aspects of people leadershipincluding hiring, expectation setting, coaching, career developmentand performance management, team building Program execution
- managing cost and schedule, staffing supplyand demand management Department operations
- identify and implement improvements toengineering execution speed and efficiency, including implementingcommon standards, processes, and tools

YOU MUST HAVE A
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science,or Aerospace Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or relateddegree 8+ years engineering development experience with a focus onreal-time software engineering 2+ years developing real-time software Due to export controls, candidate must be a US citizen and havethe ability to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance
