Job Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a multi-functional team of engineers, fosteringa culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuousimprovement. Collaborate with business collaborators and product leaders todefine and prioritize the development of new financial technologyfeatures and capabilities. Supervise the end-to-end delivery of scalable, secure, andhigh-performance solutions that meet both technical and businessrequirements. Drive the architecture, design, and implementation of theplatform, ensuring it supports seamless financial experiences andaligns with company goals. Ensure alignment between engineering efforts and key businessobjectives, translating product vision into actionable engineeringplans. Lead resource allocation, timelines, and project landmarks,ensuring successful delivery within agreed-upon timeframes. Continuously assess and improve development processes,methodologies, and tools to enhance team efficiency and productquality. Build strong relationships with business partners, providingtechnical guidance and ensuring their needs are addressedthroughout the development cycle. Promote a high standard of engineering excellence, ensuringcode quality, security, and scalability standard methodologies arefollowed. Leverage a deep understanding of technical integrations withinternal platforms and third-party services, ensuring seamless andreliable connectivity while holding integration partners to highstandards of performance, security, and reliability.
Work Experience:
5+ years proven experience in software engineering, with atleast 2 years in an engineering management role leadingcross-functional teams, preferably in the fintech industry. Proven track record of successfully delivering sophisticatedtechnology platforms in fintech, driving innovation in financialproducts and services. Experience in driving technical integrations with internalplatforms and third-party systems, ensuring high standards ofperformance, security, and scalability within the fintechecosystem. Strong background in agile development methodologies, with theability to prioritize and manage different projects whilemaintaining a focus on quality and delivery timelines. Demonstrated success in collaborating with business customersand product leaders to align engineering efforts with strategicbusiness goals in fintech. Expertise in developing and implementing scalable solutionsthat support new financial products or services, with an emphasison user-centric design and regulatory compliance in fintech. Experience handling and growing high-performance teams,providing coaching, mentorship, and professional developmentopportunities. Strong technical skills in modern software development stacks,cloud technologies, microservices architectures, andfintech-specific tools and platforms. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translatecomplex technical concepts to non-technical partners and executiveswithin the financial services industry.

15% The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successfulcandidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay willbe based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications,and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within thisrange.
