Software Development Manager-Hybrid Location:

Must live within commuting distance of their location in Raleigh, NC to be considered. No relocation assistance is available. Must have prior .Net/C# programming experience to be considered. Must have at least 3 years of management experience leading a software development team to be considered. This is a hands-on role as it requires assisting their developers to build applications in C#/.Net. This position requires onsite at their Raleigh location 3 days a week. Position Summary As the Software Development Manager, you will lead a team of software developers in the implementation of sophisticated web applications using the .NET framework. This leadership role supports strategic growth, staff development, system reliability, and operational excellence. Your skillset will include .NET development expertise, experience guiding team s through the entire software development lifecycle, and the application of Agile and Scrum frameworks in managing teams and projects. You will be expected to lead our team of developers in planning and executing new development projects according to schedule and budget while maintaining and supporting our existing custom software applications. There are 4 developers. Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and train a team of developers to build large software projects together . Manage software development projects using Agile/Scrum methodologies. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into scalable and secure technical solutions. Architect, design, and develop complex web applications leveraging the latest .NET technologies and best practices . Implement robust, reusable, and efficient code that adheres to coding standards and ensures high performance and maintainability. Collaborate with the testing and quality assurance processes, ensuring the functionality, performance, and security of web applications. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, staying updated on industry trends and recommending enhancements to development processes. Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide timely and effective resolutions to maintain application stability and availability. Complete other duties and tasks assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field or equivalent work experience and technical training. (Master’s degree preferred.) 3+ years of management experience leading a software development team. 5+ years of experience developing .NET software applications. 3 years of project management experience using Agile/Scrum frameworks

PMP, ACP PSM

certifications preferred Communication skills and the ability to lead and collaborate effectively Desired skills: Jira and confluence, C#, ASP.net, MVC within the .Net framework Front end technology experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and modern frameworks/libraries Azure experience a plus Web services, RESTful APIs and SQL server a plus Version control systems and build tools are a plus Complete job description will be available at the time of an interview.
