Job Summary We are seeking ahighly experienced and visionary Manager of Software Engineering tolead and inspire our talented engineering team. The ideal candidatepossesses a strong technical background in service-basedarchitectures, outstanding leadership skills, and a passion fordelivering innovative software solutions. In this role, you willdrive the development and execution of our technology roadmap tocreate the best tools on the planet for our front-line sales andtech teams, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure thedelivery of high-quality products that meet the needs of ourcustomers and business objectives. Responsibilities Lead effectivebrainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas and solutions.

Drive multi-scrum technology feasibility, delivery, and quality inpartnership with product and design teams. Establish and gainacceptance for technology roadmaps aligned with product roadmaps.

Establish and gain acceptance for technical solutions, serving as ago-to expert for specific capabilities. Articulate technologyvision, principles, and roadmaps to diverse audiences, tailoringcommunication appropriately. Achieve objectively good negotiationresults efficiently while maintaining relationships and drivingdecision-making. Effectively and respectfully drive technical teaminteractions, persuasively influencing architecture, softwaredesign, implementation, and incident recovery. Advise team memberson the quality of software designs, code, tests, and documentation.

Proactively build strong relationships with product, design, andbusiness/operations counterparts within and across teams.

Understand and articulate the financial benefits and costs ofcapabilities, incorporating this information into decision-making.

Thoroughly vet and refine requirements to clearly articulate theirintent. Establish clear cost and time commitments to stakeholders,ensuring they are met with assistance. Consistently communicatewith stakeholders about expectations and proactively shareknowledge to elevate others. Qualifications Bachelors Degree inComputer Science or a related field. Minimum seven years ofprofessional software development experience, including 3 years ina leadership role. Strong technical background in relevanttechnologies (e.g., Go, Java, cloud platforms, CI/CD). Provenability to lead and inspire engineering teams, fostercollaboration, and drive results. Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills, with the ability to tailor communication todifferent audiences. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,with a focus on finding creative solutions to complex challenges.

Experience managing software development projects, includingscoping, planning, and execution. Experience working in an Agiledevelopment environment. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position inthe posted location is $133,661.00 – $219,586.00 / year. Therate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time ofhire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
