South FL Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the IT quality assurance and business analysis teams. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, promoting professional growth and development opportunities. Recruit, mentor, and develop team members to ensure high performance and career growth. Set clear goals and objectives for the teams and monitor performance against these targets. Collaborate closely with Systems Development, and other departments to translate business requirements into technical specifications and solutions. Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle. Work closely with project managers and teams to ensure QA and BA activities are integrated into project plans and timelines. Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of projects and milestones. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of IT business analysis and quality assurance processes. Tool selection for QA and BA teams to mature their processes within the organization. Quality Assurance Oversee the quality assurance process, including test planning, execution, and reporting. Develop and implement quality assurance standards and best practices. Ensure that all software products meet established quality criteria, including functionality, performance, and reliability. Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects in a timely manner. Organize, manage, and assist manual and automated testing to ensure minimal production defect. Facilitate the decomposition of business requirements, into Use Cases and Acceptance Criteria Organize and manage manual and automated test case libraries. Participate in deployment testing exercises, and SCRUM events as needed. Lead Instructor Training on QA-related topics. Keep abreast of changes in technology, standards, and relevant developments in IT & testing by maintaining professional competency through training, reading, etc. Lead QA process improvement initiatives and identify opportunities for automation and optimization to streamline workflows. Business Analysis Lead the IT business analysis team in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements. Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into functional specifications. Ensure that proposed solutions meet business objectives and address key challenges or opportunities. Coordinate the requirements gathering process for applications, overseeing documentation and validation of changes. Stay informed about emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in IT business analysis and quality assurance.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education, Training and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other relevant degree or equivalent experience is required. 8-10 years of experience in IT business analysis or quality assurance required, with a minimum of 5 years in IT Management. Proficiency in software testing methodologies, tools, and techniques, with experience in Agile, waterfall, or other SDLC methodologies. Proficiency in business analysis methodologies, tools, and techniques, with experience in Agile, waterfall, or other SDLC methodologies. Experience in defining QA metrics, analyzing data, and preparing comprehensive reports for senior management. Strong background in requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and validation processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, ISTQB) are a plus.

Physical Demands:

Work requires light or a low amount of physical exertion. The need for physical stamina and endurance is of minimum or low significance. Body movement usually involves sitting and intermittent walking.
