Job Duties:
Understand functional and non-functional requirements and the business context for which the application is being developed. Ensure that components and features are complete based on the business definition. Participate in developing and documenting User Stories, including testing estimates and validation tests. Write the test cases/scripts – ideally up-front but on a just-in- time basis per feature. Partner with the developers to ensure all areas of the application are fully tested and issues are clearly logged and prioritized consistently. Manage the defect log and ensure issues are resolved, including validation of the fix. Analyze and determine proper testing procedures/processes for testing both hardware and software. Contribute to the analysis of product features, and the product as a whole, to ensure it behaves as intended. Ensure all non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, security, usability, etc.) are met. Act as the entry point for the Help Desk to provide an initial review and assessment of reported defects. Review all artefacts prepared by the Testing team. Log defects found during the review in the project’s defined Defect management tool and track these defects to closure. Document requirement issues using the project’s defined Requirement Issue tracker. Prepare Test Plan as per the project’s defined Test Plan template. Monitor the progress of the Testing phase. Prepare Test Report to summarize the outcome of the Testing phase. Setting up the automation framework to support Selenium Webdriver. Write JUnit scripts for performing unit testing at the end of each build. Migration of existing excel-based test scripts and defect list to Quality Center. Vigorous functional and Integration Testing. Testing Web-to-mobile and Mobile-to-web interface on Android and IOS platforms. API testing of partner webservice applications using tools.
Job Requirements:
Required Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Engineering (Any), or related field + 5 years of experience in the job offered, Staff Engineer, Software Development Engineer, Analyst, Technical Lead or related.
