HVAC/Building Automation Specialist Opportunity Tallahassee State College is excited to announce a full-time opening for the position of HVAC Building/Automation Specialist – P00540 with Facilities

HVAC/BAS

Maintenance. We’re looking for someone who shares our commitment to fostering a vibrant campus community. What You’ll Do As HVAC Building/Automation Specialist, you’ll play a key role in creating a safe and efficient environment at the College. Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for: Performs skilled work in the maintenance, alteration and repair of buildings, furnishings, and equipment, including carpentry and masonry, as well as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and electronics systems.

Hours:

8:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M., Monday – Friday Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a candidate who brings not only technical expertise but also a passion for education and student success.

Our ideal candidate will have:

Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of an acceptable equivalency diploma. Four (4) years of experience in HVAC, two of which involved the repair of electronic building automation systems. Successful completion of the Johnson Control and / or Siemens – Institute program relating to the operation and programming of Building Automation Systems. Why You’ll Love Working Here
