Marquis Software Development is the industry leader in Corrections software. Our Electronic Offender Management Information System (eOMIS) is a web-based system written in Java. We are looking for junior and senior QA Analysts who would make impact on improving quality of the product. Join our team and help us continue delivering world-class software to our customers. The duties of the QA Analyst may include: Solid understanding of the overall QA life cycle. Participate in reviews of development document deliverables such as requirements, functional design, technical design, and functional test scripts written by other team members. Responsible for the design and execution of test plans and test cases based on functional specifications. Analyze and identify system defects through functional, regression, and smoke testing. Appropriately escalate these issues as defined by the processes. Develop proficiency in the application and use of tools within the organization. Responsible for working closely with other members of the quality assurance team, as well as business analysts, project managers, and software developers to define testing goals and achieve delivery deadlines, while meeting the company’s quality standards. Required Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience with web application testing. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. Work on-site in Tallahassee, FL in a hybrid work environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
