Job Description
- Overview
- The Cyber Resiliency Test Engineer will coordinate with a wide range of government and client partners to carry out test projects and analyze cyber test strategies.
This position will engage in assessments and systems analyst to uncover and mitigate potential risks to our clients’ systems under development. This position performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of Cayuse.
- Responsibilities
- + Execute test projects and program objectives efficiently.
+ Review technical specifications and systems to identify potential security gaps. + Develop comprehensive test plans and assessments for system vulnerabilities. + Analyze test data thoroughly and produce clear reports for stakeholders. + Work alongside operational testers and pilots to dissect and ascertain vulnerabilities that could compromise cyber resiliency. + Participant actively in the establishment of cyber contested environments as a means to validate the resilience of systems under test. + Contribute to the creation and reinforcement of the clients serviced level cybersecurity policies and procedures. + Cultivate system requirements for advanced national defense systems, addressing complex challenges head-on and making a substantive impact. + Coordinate with a wide range of the clients/Government partners to carry out test projects and analyze cyber test strategies critically. + Engage deeply in vulnerability assessments and systems analysis to uncover and mitigate potential risks to the clients’ systems under development. + Other duties as assigned.
- Qualifications
- + Master’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information systems, electrical engineering, computer engineering, systems engineering, or similar.
+ At least 10 years of relevant technical experience in cybersecurity, aircraft/weapons systems, or IT systems . + Possess an active Secret clearance. + Fulfillment of the clients’ Cyber Workforce Program requirements. + Profound understanding of Government acquisition and/or test and evaluation processes. + Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment. + Must possess problem-solving skills. + Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written + Ability to respond effectively to customers with a sense of urgency. + Proficient in Microsoft and Adobe toolsets, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Acrobat, etc. + Highly motivated with the ability to handle and manage multiple tasks at any one time. + Ability to forge new relationships, individual and teaming in nature. + Must be a Self-starter, that can work independently and as part of a team.

Desired Qualifications:
- + Recent experience in cyber test and evaluation.
+ Deep familiarity with the Government Cybersecurity Test and Evaluation Guidebook. + Past involvement in Mission-Based Cyber Risk Assessments. + Knowledge of the Cybersecurity Assess and Authorize process within the Governments Risk Management Framework. + History of establishing cyber guidelines and practices. + Proficient in software development and a foundational understanding of network/systems security engineering concepts.
