We’re looking for a Quality Engineer IV to join our high-impact team. In this senior-level role, you will help modernize and enhance some of the industry’s most widely adopted retail systems. You’ll collaborate closely with software engineers to ensure robust, testable, and high-quality code emphasizing automation, test coverage, and continuous improvement from the earliest stages of development.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and automate tests using both proprietary and open-source frameworks
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design effective test strategies
Ensure complete test coverage across UI, API, and backend layers
Analyze user stories and business requirements to identify potential quality risks
Maintain and enhance QA environments, contributing to long-term planning
Participate in design and code reviews to advocate for quality
Execute performance and functional tests using modern tools
Drive continuous improvement and innovation in QA processes
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent work experience
10+ years of professional software testing experience
7+ years of development experience with Java or C#, with strong OOP fundamentals
3-5 years of hands-on experience with Python, especially for test automation
5+ years of JavaScript or TypeScript experience in test automation contexts
Expertise in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI
Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, especially Scrum
Proven experience with API testing and performance testing tools
Strong database knowledge (SQL and NoSQL systems like MongoDB)
Skilled in tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, Protractor
Version control proficiency with Git
Scripting experience with PowerShell, Python, etc.
Experience testing both cloud-based and client/server architectures
Preferred Qualifications
In-depth understanding of QA methodologies, standards, and best practices
Ability to quickly grasp and work with complex technical systems
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Meticulous attention to detail with a commitment to quality
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
