7+ month contract Responsibilities Perform quality automation engineering tasks, including software quality assurance and development. Test applications using mainstream technologies such as GIT, Cucumber, and Azure. Conduct both manual and automated testing independently and mentor team members as needed. Adhere to coding standards for test automation. Communicate effectively with other engineers, QE, and the onshore team. Support the QE team during testing by fixing defects, deploying code, and providing clarifications. Encourage and facilitate high-quality code by supporting QE team efforts, including mentoring, assistance, and writing/executing automation tests. Collaborate with the Deployment Lead and peer developers to complete various project deployment activities. Qualifications 7+ years of experience as a quality engineer, following QA processes, methodologies, and using testing automation tools (e.g., Selenium). 5+ years of experience using API testing tools (manual and automation) such as SOAPUI and Postman, or equivalent, for building test scenarios and acceptance tests. 5+ years of experience testing applications using mainstream technologies (GIT, Cucumber, Azure). 4+ years of experience developing RESTful API automation with JSON or XML. 4+ years of experience working with SQL queries. Experience working in a CI/CD environment like Jenkins and Azure DevOps for executing automated tests. Proficiency with developer tools and IDEs, such as Eclipse and Git/GitHub, for developing on a .NET stack. Strong communication, collaboration, and influencing skills to drive change. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment. Ability to collaborate in a team environment with developers, testers, and product owners.
