Overview Job Purpose This is a position with ICE Clear Credit (ICC), asubsidiary of ICE Group. ICC is the world’s largest systemicallyimportant clearinghouse for credit default swaps (CDS). ICC is anentrepreneurial and aggressive organization that implementsworld-class risk management solutions for the CDS marketplace. Asuccessful candidate maintains a hands-on pragmatic approach withan understanding of the dynamics of the financial marketplace.

OLTP systems for managing business and system workflows Distributed batch processing systems for quantitative riskanalytics Enterprise Integration systems for ETL and Data FeedManagement Reporting systems for Member, Regulatory and Compliance User Interface systems for the externalmarketplaceResponsibilities As a QA Analyst, you will partner withSystem Analysts, Development and System Operations to ensurebusiness, technical, and operational requirements are satisfiedwithin the required time frame with no adverse impact to existingfunctionality or operational processes. This role will beresponsible for the design, development and execution of testing ofall clearinghouse functionality. This role is accountable forestablishing and evolving test coverage that aligns with existingtest strategies. This is achieved by first understanding thebusiness, technical, and operational requirements and then buildingcomprehensive test scenarios which are reviewed with the projectteam. After these scenarios have been reviewed with allstakeholders, you will be expected to develop associated test data,execute test cases, and report any defects encountered. As a memberof the QA team, you are responsible for every line of codedelivered into customer facing environments.

Must beresults-oriented, self-motivated and have the ability to thrive ina fast-paced environment. This role requires frequent interactionwith quantitative analysts, systems analysts and developers.

Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, areessential as this position interfaces with differing Technologyroles. In addition, on-going documentation will be required.

Knowledge and Experience Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication andinterpersonal skills. Prefer knowledge of OTC Credit Derivatives and/or otherinterest rate or other OTC derivatives – CDS, Structured Products,Interest Rate Products, Options, US Treasuries Minimum of 3 years’ experience in software QA/Testingpreferably on one or more large, highly transactional systemsdeployed and used in production. Prefer 3+ years’ experience working in UNIX/Linux andSQL/Oracle environments. Experience with design and development of API test cases forRESTful web services is required. Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, orequivalent. Ability to set priorities and multi-task in a fast-pacedenvironment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills and decision-making ability. Reports activities to management through daily stand-upmeetings, formal updates, project team meeting and other reports asneeded. Adheres to corporate and department standards, policies andprocedures. Contributes to the development and refinement ofdepartment standards, processes and procedures Researches and recommends technology solutions Strong knowledge of Java and object-oriented systemtechnologies Solid knowledge of development practices and applicationarchitecture Develops knowledge and/or experience in the followingareas Business functionality High level programming languages Operations, Technical Support and Production Control operatingenvironment Department standards, guidelines and procedures Primary Technologies Core Java Spring (Core, Boot, Cloud, Batch, Security, Integration) Eclipse Source Code Management (git) Maven, Jenkins, Artifactory, JUnit, TestNG Oracle, MongoDB Microservice Architecture REST, WebSockets PSQL, JDBC, JPA, Liquibase Sencha(EXT, Touch), AJAX, Electron, Node, Node.js JMS, WebSphere MQ, ActiveMQ Education and/or Experience (Includes Certificates, Licenses,Registrations that may be required or preferred) Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) from a four-year college or universitywith a major in computer science or related field; or five to eightyears related experience and/or training; or equivalent combinationof education and experience.
