Software Engineer in Test (Temporary Position, 6m contract) Position Available In Fulton, Georgia

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to design, develop, and maintain automated end-to-end (E2E) tests for our cloud-based SaaS solutions. In this role, you will work closely with development teams to ensure our applications meet the highest quality standards. You will also adhere to robust QA processes, including writing test strategies, test cases, and ensuring comprehensive testing traceability. Key Responsibilities Automated Testing:

Develop, implement, and maintain automated end-to-end tests for complex cloud-based SaaS applications. Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. Perform API testing to ensure data integrity and system reliability.

Quality Assurance Practices:

Write and maintain test strategies, test cases, and testing documentation. Ensure traceability of requirements through comprehensive test coverage. Adhere to and advocate for QA best practices across teams.

Collaboration & Problem-Solving:

Partner with developers to understand application functionality and resolve issues quickly. Participate in design and code reviews to identify and prevent quality issues. Contribute to continuous improvement of testing frameworks and processes.

Performance & Scalability Testing:

Assist in designing tests for performance, load, and scalability of the platform. Analyze and report on test results, identifying root causes and recommending solutions.

Required Experience & Qualifications Technical Skills:

5+ years of experience as an SDET or in a similar role, with a focus on automated testing. Strong expertise in writing E2E tests using tools like Selenium, JUnit, or similar. Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent. Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and SaaS environments, including CI/CD pipelines.

QA Practices:

Hands-on experience in writing test strategies, test plans, and test cases. Strong understanding of testing traceability and best practices in QA processes.

Problem-Solving & Collaboration:

Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards identifying and resolving issues. Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Nice to

Base Wage Range:

$9,583 – $12,075 per month (for 6 month contract duration). The wage may be adjusted within this range based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and the specific needs of the position.
