Job Description

Position SummaryNeptunes Enterprise Applications and Data (EAD) team is looking for a Software QA Lead to help define anddrive quality assurance processes within Neptunes enterprise applications, ensuring that products meetthe required standards before release.

Objectives:

Lead testing efforts for Neptunes enterprise applications involving front-end, back-end andintegration point validationsParticipate in all

Scrum Ceremonies:

i.e., Daily Stand Ups, Sprint Planning, Estimation, andRetrospective meetings to review project progress and act accordinglyProvide reliable scope and estimates of testing efforts to the project teamWork across multi-functional teams and business units to understand both the business needs andtechnical approach for a given projectCreate and review test cases to ensure the testing scope encompasses all requirements for theprojectIdentify test data needed for all required test scenariosTrack and monitor all testing activities for the scrum teamEngage in all forms of testing needed by the project (i.e., functional, integration, regression, end toend)Lead and mentor QA team membersRemain involved in test environment setup and gaining access to required tools throughcoordinating with proper teamsWork closely with Tech Leads and Product Owners to troubleshoot defects both in production andlower environmentsProvide technical expertise in the diagnosis and resolution of an issue, including the determinationand provision of workaround solutions or escalation to product owners

Requirements:

EducationBachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or a related field of study, or equivalentexperienceExperience6 years of testing experience (functional, integration, regression, performance, and scalabilitytesting) for enterprise applicationsExperience in onshore/offshore scrum team modelExperience leading QA members in test plan development through test execution/defectresolutionInterpersonal SkillsStrong interpersonal skills, and strong team-building skillsPragmatic problem solving and decision-making skills with excellent written and verbalcommunicationsRelentless passion and commitment to operational excellence delivering in scope, on time,on the budget to the delight of our internal customerDemonstrated ability to back decisions with research and the whyExperience working in a diverse team and accomplishing goals with cross-team collaborationTechnical Skills6 years SDLC in an Agile/SCRUM environmentIn-depth knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and automated testingProject and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
