Onsite Location :
Houston, TX Qualifications Experience in translating non-functional requirements into Performance tests using workload modeling
Extensive experience in implelenting performance tests (load/stress/endurance) using LoadRunner/JMeter/Neoload and performance monitoring using APM tools to identify performance issues
Hands-on experience in APM tools like Dynatrace & AppDynamics to conduct root cause analysis for performance and scalability bottlenecks
Able to analyze Splunk logs, Dynatrace distributed traces, method hotspots and response-time hotspots to identify slow components and provide recommendations
Experience in performance testing for Cloud deployments, Docker/Kubernetes containerized applications and microservices
Knowledge on Java/Python, SQL query creation and manipulation skills is a plus
Strong ability to contribute to technical discussions around application performance and high-availability, resilience and observability Roles & Responsibilities Work with technical teams to analyze, design, and convert non- functional requirements to performance test scenarios
Has an oversight on application quality and guides the team to achieve key quality results
Responsibilities include performance testing, performance monitoring & analysis, etc.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on root cause analysis, troubleshooting activities and driving proactive resolutions
Helps to grow NFT Quality Test Strategy standards within the system/application and compatibility with the architecture of the platform
Individual Contributor with highly developed communication skills
Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until 4/25/25 The annual salary for this position is between $83,250/- to $132,000/- , depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans
