Key Responsibilities:

Performance Engineering and Testing

• Deliver end-to-end performance testing for multiple applications across cloud and on-prem environments
• Plan, design, and execute performance tests using tools like LoadRunner, JMeter, and others
• Conduct workload modeling, performance assessment, and requirement gathering
• Set up test environments, test automation pipelines, and load tests
• Analyze test results to identify bottlenecks and coordinate resolution with engineering teams
• Apply system thinking to evaluate performance in lower environments and extrapolate to production-like conditions
• Utilize monitoring and profiling tools (e.

g., Dynatrace) for root cause analysis (RCA) and optimization.

Leadership and Strategy

• Lead a global team of performance testers across onsite and offshore locations
• Manage the performance testing backlog, including prioritization, estimation, and workload distribution
• Drive initiatives to innovate, shift-left testing, and close quality gaps
• Champion test data, environment management, and service virtualization strategies
• Train cross-functional teams on performance testing principles and practices.

Cloud and DevOps Integration

• Apply cloud-native capabilities to performance test cloud-hosted applications
• Leverage CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, Tekton) and scripting (Python) to accelerate testing
• Use AWS services such as CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CloudWatch, EC2, S3, Redshift, and QuickSight
• Promote self-serve performance testing and mocking frameworks to enhance test coverage and speed.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with performance testing tools like LoadRunner, Performance Center, or JMeter
• 3+ years of experience leading multiple concurrent projects or products
• 3+ years of experience managing onsite and offshore teams of 10+ engineers
• Strong expertise in performance engineering concepts, methodologies, and tools
• Intermediate proficiency with cloud technologies and architecture (preferably AWS)
• Working knowledge of observability tools (e.g., Dynatrace), scripting (Python), and CI/CD pipelines
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.

Additional Responsibilities (System and Integration Testing)

• Develop and maintain master test plans, test cases, and schedules
• Execute test scenarios across development and integration environments
• Validate requirements and document test plans aligned with functional specs
• Perform various types of testing including regression, UAT, security, failover, and stress testing
• Track and report on defects, risks, and issue resolution
• Support the creation of use cases and test data strategies.
