The Testing Coordinator will support the Testing Lead and Emory Digital Team in planning, executing, and tracking a wide range of testing activities for digital and operational initiatives This includes facilitating Unit, Functional, Smoke, Integrated, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure quality assurance standards are met The Testing Coordinator is responsible for test script library maintenance, coordinating issue tracking, reporting, and assisting with lab testing logistics The role requires strong attention to detail, cross-team coordination, and organizational skills to ensure testing efforts are streamlined, documented, and effective Primary Duties and Responsibilities Test Execution Coordination Collaborate with the Digital Testing Lead to execute test cases across multiple digital systems Facilitate testing efforts with internal teams, vendors, and other stakeholders Monitor testing progress and escalate issues based on impact and severity Host and facilitate daily stand-up meetings to assess test progress and dependencies Track defects through their full lifecycle, from identification to resolution Documentation and Script Maintenance Maintain and update test case libraries, ensuring alignment with evolving project needs Ensure consistent use of test case templates and master script repositories Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test plans, and issue resolution processes Tool and Dashboard Management Support maintenance and updates of MS Teams channels, SharePoint dashboards, and issue tracking systems Track and report metrics related to test execution and issue resolution Test Lab Support Assist in managing an on-site test lab, including setup and testing of various devices and operating systems Support device-based and OS-based testing environments for functional use cases Reporting and Communication Compile and distribute regular reports to stakeholders on testing progress, metrics, and issue status Maintain a centralized location for all reports and testing documentation
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Associate’s degree in Information Technology or related field Minimum of 2 years of experience in software or device quality control or development, preferably in healthcare Strong organizational skills, communication, documentation, issue tracking, test case execution, and familiarity with collaborative tools like MS Teams and SharePoint
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field 4+ years in healthcare-related software testing or digital QA Experience with UAT coordination, issue tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps), and familiarity with mobile device and OS compatibility testing
