Quality Assurance Engineer 1.Strong Test Specification & Documentation Skills Ability to author clear, comprehensive, and structured test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria based on system requirements and user workflows.
Experience with traceability matrices and test coverage strategies for both functional and non-functional testing (performance, load, soak, etc)
Proficient in writing regression, negative, edge case, and performance test scenarios. 2. Extensive SQL and Database Validation Experience Expert in writing complex SQL queries for data verification, integrity checks, and backend validation of test results. Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL
Ability to analyze logs and correlate data across distributed systems for root cause analysis. 3.Proficiency with Linux Operating Systems Solid hands-on experience with Linux (RHEL8) for system-level QA, log analysis, and shell scripting.
Capable of deploying builds, using monitoring services, parsing logs, and performing system resource analysis using command-line tools. 4.Working Knowledge of Networking Protocols and Tools Understanding of TCP/IP, firewalls, ports, DNS, and routing concepts relevant to distributed systems testing.
Familiarity with network-related test scenarios such as packet loss, latency simulation, and failover testing. 5.Hardware and System Integration Testing Background Experience testing systems with integrated hardware components (e.g., RFID readers, scanners, sensors, I/O controllers).
Ability to work closely with engineers and understand dependencies between firmware, device drivers, and test software.
Skilled at identifying root causes of hardware-software interaction issues and logging reproducible defects. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance Engineering
Proficiency in SQL and experience with PostgreSQL databases.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience with regression testing, test planning, and test case development.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Strong understanding of functional and non-functional testing strategies.
Experience with bug tracking tools and documentation practices.
Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems and shell scripting.
Familiarity with networking protocols and systems integration. Please
