The Senior Electrical Test Engineer will be a key hire in theefforts to develop electrical developments with the industries topmotion control systems. Client Details We’re seeking a SeniorElectrical Test Engineer to take ownership of designing andqualifying advanced motion control systems used in high-precisionapplications. This role will focus on developing and supporting aproprietary controls platform, with responsibilities spanningdesign, testing, and deployment for key customers across the U.S.,Europe, and Asia. Description The Senior Electrical TestEngineer will be responsible for: Collaborate with customers andinternal teams to gather requirements, develop specifications,design system architectures, and define interfaces, supportingconcept development and cost modeling for proposals Lead the designand execution of projects involving precision motion systems,maintaining thorough traceability across requirements, design, andtesting throughout the project lifecycle Prepare and managedetailed project documentation using tools such as Altium, AutoCAD,MathCAD, or MATLAB, including electrical schematics, wiringdiagrams, component selection, software development, Bills ofMaterials, and engineering change requests Drive engineeringdevelopment activities following established project management andbest engineering practices Develop analytical models to simulatesystem behavior and interactions, and promote the use of modelingand simulation techniques to enhance design accuracy Ensure all newsystem designs comply with relevant design controls and regulatorystandards like CE, UL, RoHS, and REACH Build and test rapidprototypes to identify and mitigate technical risks during earlydevelopment stages Configure and run tests using variouscontrollers and drive products from both internal and externalsuppliers Profile The successful Senior Electrical Test Engineerwill have what follows: Strong background in electrical engineeringwith hands-on experience designing and developing precision motioncontrol systems Proficient in system architecture, requirementsgathering, and managing project documentation using tools likeAltium, AutoCAD, MathCAD, or MATLAB Experienced in leading projectsfrom concept through testing while ensuring compliance withindustry standards and regulations (e.g., CE, UL, RoHS, REACH)Skilled in developing analytical and simulation models to predictand optimize system performance Comfortable working with variousmotion control hardware and software, including controllers anddrives from multiple suppliers Excellent problem-solver who canprototype quickly, identify risks early, and iterate to findeffective solutions Strong communicator who can workcollaboratively with customers and cross-functional teamsDetail-oriented with a focus on maintaining traceability andrigorous engineering practices throughout the development processJob Offer The Senior Electrical Test Engineer will be offered:
