Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled .NET Developer with strong Quality Assurance (QA) expertise and a deep understanding of Wealth and Asset Management to join our dynamic team.
This hybrid role combines development, testing, and domain knowledge to ensure high-quality solutions that meet the demands of financial services clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain robust .NET applications, services, and APIs.
Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle including analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
Develop and execute automated and manual test cases using QA best practices.
Collaborate with business analysts and product owners to understand business requirements, especially in the Wealth & Asset Management domain.
Perform integration, system, and regression testing to ensure application quality.
Write clean, scalable code using C# and .NET frameworks.
Identify, log, and track defects in a structured manner.
Review and optimize code for performance and scalability.
Work closely with DevOps and support teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
Maintain documentation related to design, development, and testing processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
10+ years of experience as a .NET Developer using C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core.
3+ years of hands-on QA/testing experience (manual and/or automation).
Strong knowledge of wealth and asset management processes, tools, and regulatory requirements.
Experience with testing tools such as Selenium, NUnit, xUnit, Postman, etc.
Proficiency in writing SQL queries and working with relational databases (SQL Server preferred).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and version control systems.
Good understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC best practices.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Microservices and RESTful API development.
Familiarity with investment management platforms like Charles River, BlackRock Aladdin, or Eagle.
Exposure to performance testing and security testing.
Knowledge of Azure DevOps or other cloud-based environments.
