Quality Test Engineer (Playwright)
Piper Companies is hiring a Quality Test Engineer (Playwright) for a small company local to Durham, NC. The Quality Test Engineer (Playwright) will work on end to end testing and needs to be meticulous and detail-oriented. The Quality Test Engineer (Playwright) will need to sit n site 3 days per week in Durham, NC and this role is not able to provide sponsorship.
Responsibilities for the Quality Test Engineer (Playwright):
Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans and test cases.
Perform manual testing of software applications to identify defects and ensure quality.
Conduct end-to-end testing to validate the complete workflow of applications, ensuring all components and systems work seamlessly together.
Perform API testing to verify the integrity and functionality of backend services, ensuring they interact correctly with the front-end systems.
Document and report bugs, issues, and defects clearly and concisely.
Collaborate with developers and product managers to resolve issues and ensure software meets requirements.
Conduct regression testing to validate that fixes do not affect existing functionalities.
Participate in test planning, requirement analysis, and review meetings.
Requirements for the Quality Test Engineer (Playwright):
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is required.
Proven experience as a Manual QA Tester or similar role.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and practices.
Experience with end-to-end testing and API testing.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Compensation for the Quality Test Engineer (Playwright):
$80,000 – $105,000 base salary Full Comprehensive benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave if required by law, and Holidays Employers have access to artificial intelligence language tools (“AI”) that help generate and enhance job descriptions and AI may have been used to create this description.
