Position Description:

Performs automated tests, systems tests, chaos tests, application cloud migration and management, Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD) implementation, security tests, and application development. Supports the Contact Center team within Personal Investing by supporting the applications utilized by Fidelity’s customers for communicating with Fidelity resources. Implements API Test Automation with tools such as Cypress, Selenium, REST Assured, Cyara, and Karate. Delivers systems software solutions in an Agile environment. Leads enterprise technology systems solutions using Agile development methodologies such as Splunk, Kibana, Grafana and Datadog. Manages systems applications within cloud environments such as Amazon Web services (AWS), and supports AWS cloud migrations. Integrates with contact center platforms such as Genesys. Architects and implements software solutions by leveraging tools such as Java and JavaScript. Builds automation pipelines by leveraging DevOps concepts and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and uDeploy.

Primary Responsibilities:

Crafts the best end-to-end customer experience. Architects automation test platforms. Analyzes information to determine, recommend, and plan computer software specifications on major projects and proposes modifications and improvements based on user need. Develops software system tests and validation procedures, programs, and documentation. Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going development efforts. Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in multiple platforms. Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives. Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to implementation. Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer in Test (or closely related occupation) implementing and executing automation tests using Java, JavaScript, Selenium, Karate, Cypress, Jenkins, Splunk and Amazon Web services (AWS). Or, alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Software Engineer in Test (or closely related occupation) implementing and executing automation tests using Java, JavaScript, Selenium, Karate, Cypress, Jenkins, Splunk and Amazon Web services (AWS).

Skills and Knowledge:

Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) developing, maintaining, and enhancing test case design, test scripts development, test environment setup, test data setup, defect management, test logs and test results. DE designing, maintaining, developing automation code frameworks, and executing JUnit and API automation tests using Java, JavaScript, Selenium, Cypress, Git and Java REST Assured Library. DE deploying applications to AWS Cloud, and developing, designing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker Containers, Groovy Script, Kubernetes, Vaults and Artifactory. DE fixing code vulnerabilities and maintaining application build management using Maven and using Splunk, Kibana, Grafana and ServiceNow for monitoring logs, debugging, and providing solutions for the bottlenecks. #PE1M2 #
