We are on the hunt for a dedicated QA Engineer to strengthen our local team. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and dependability of our software products by crafting and implementing exhaustive test plans. Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, including Product Managers and Business Analysts, to convert requirements into potent testing strategies supporting new features and continuous product enhancements. Location:
Onsite at 3500 Tricenter Blvd. D, Durham, NC 27713
Salary:
$75,000-85,000 (including Benefits)
Qualifications:
Bachelor s Degree in Engineering or a Technology related field with 4-5 years of technical QA experience.
Exposure to Agile methodologies with scrum implementation.
Proven ability in writing user story acceptance criteria collaboratively with Product Managers, Product Owners, or Business Analysts.
Understanding of software module architecture and overall software architecture.
Capacity to review requirements, design artifacts for ambiguities, and design medium-to-complex test cases to verify functionality and performance.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain tests based on user stories, use cases, other specifications, and non-functional requirements.
Execute both testing on new features and regression testing as necessary, while automating tests where feasible.
Create necessary test data and work with automation resources to extend the automation suite using XML, JSON, and proprietary messages as needed.
Track, report, and analyze software defects to resolve issues efficiently.
Collaborate seamlessly across different roles within the international organization.
