Description
Develop custom test scripts and solutions for 3GPP protocol 5G/4G using Callbox systems such as Keysight/R&S, etc Experience in device logs analysis tools such as

QXDM, ELT

etc Hands on experience with Callbox systems such as

UXM, CMX

500, Propsim, etc Integrate new TE (Keysight and Rhode& Schwarz) products and services (at the system/solutions level) into the lab environment Lead projects requiring coordination with other lab testers, SMEs, TE vendors, and third partie labs. Collaborate with cross functional teams (Chipsets, Device OEMs, 3rd party labs, and 5G technical SMEs) to propose new test cases and develop 5G Protocol, Performance and Performance Scripts. Repurpose and re configure lab instances to meet device certification testing requests and maintaining high utilization rates of the callbox systems Work with SMEs to learn new features and develop auomation test scripts using the callbox systems Manage lab test environment requests: initial review, requirement clarification, scheduling, and providing access. Prepare and maintain documentation/templates for lab test environment management and collaborate on automating configurations. Technical Skills Should have experience in Call Box Testing, QXDM, ELT, GCF/PTCRB. UE testing experience & expertise Call box testing experience (Eg. R&S/Keysight etc) Automation skills Must be able to analyse the failure logs and triage the issues Strong debugging & troubleshooting skills. Ability to debug and bifurcate an issue into a UE or TE side issue Knowledge of wireless/3GPP standards Basics of wireless/domain must be clear. Deep technical expertise in one or more of the following areas L2/L3 including MAC/RLC/PDCP/SDAP and control signaling (e.g. RRC/NAS) Carrier Aggregation and Dual Connectivity in SA / NSA, and legacy LTE networks E2E Call Flows for Xn & N2, S8 HR, N9 HR, N14, N26 based Handovers E2E Call Flows including handover support across EPS, and 5 E2E Call Flows VoNR and EPS Fallback Design E2E Call Flows for

N3IWF / ATSS / ANDSP

Proficiency with IMS/ SMS/ MMS/ Supplementary Calls/ VoWiFi Qualifications Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Telecom or Electrical/Computer/Electrical Engineering or equivalent Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in Test/Systems engineering (develop, deploy and debug test systems) Experience in 1 or more of the following: LabVIEW, TestStand, Matlab, Pathwave, ADS or HPV Experience in Test and Measurement instrumentation with PNA, Spectrum analyzers, VNA, Oscilloscopes Software programming experience in Python/C++ or similar development environment Exceptional interpersonal skills, strong time management, decision making skills, and customer service orientation. Proficient in technical writing for lab test environment design, request templates, and documentation.
