Job Description on Test Engineer

Test Engineer Responsibilities:

Understand Agile project delivery model
Writing test plans and creating test cases for the User stories.
Conducting quality assurance and designing performance tests using the testing procedures.
Troubleshooting any errors, analyzing results and identifying the root cause and streamlining the testing procedures.
Writing up the final QA and test procedures for the quality technicians.
Ensuring all tests and procedures meet company and industry standards.
Preparing test reports for management.

Documentation:

Prepare documentation and review application specifications
Time management: Meet deadlines and use time efficiently
Attention to detail: Detect subtle defects to ensure high-quality software
Staying current: Learn about new testing tools, techniques, and methodologies

Test Engineer Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or computer engineering.
5-6 years of work experience as a test engineer.
Familiarity with testing tools including Azure DevOps, Selenium & JMeter.
Extensive knowledge of engineering and testing procedures.
Good problem-solving skills.
Ability to project manage.
Ability to troubleshoot and think out of the box.
High-level technical writing skills.
