job summary: Develops detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test cases based on functional requirementsContributes to test planning, and when part of a Scrum team, builds test cases for stories in the given sprint as per story acceptance criteriaAutomates the test cases in User-Interface(UI) and database using tools like Selenium/ToscaBuilds and uses test data required to accomplish execution of test casesExecutes test cases, including manual and automated tests, and records test results Test new and existing features, debug code (units and integration) and report errors and failures location: Charlotte, North Carolina job type: Contract salary: $50.41 – 60.41 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Work collaboratively with the development team for defect triagingExecute all levels of testing (Functional, Integration, and Regression)Design, develop, execute automation scriptsOwnership in end-end testingDetect and track software defects and inconsistencies; provide timely solutionsApply quality principles throughout the Agile product lifecycle with the appropriate support and documentationEnsure that all the standards and process are being implemented within a projects qualifications: Technical BA/BS (Engineering, Computer Science, Math) and a minimum of 6 years of experience5 years of experience in Software TestingExperience of Automaton testing using tools like Selenium/TOSCA for UI and database.
Expertise in testing User-Interface(UI) and Database changesWorking on Autosys scheduling of jobsAble to write Unix commands and execute themProven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester using SQL, Database, ETL technologiesStrong experience in writing complex SQL queries using JoinsExperience with UnixAbility to document and troubleshoot errors skills: Working knowledge of test management software (
Ex:
qTest, Octane)Familiar with the life cycle of projects (SIT, UAT)Hands on agile experienceWork collaboratively with the development team for defect triagingExcellent verbal and written skills, to include advanced interpersonal and proven presentation skillsAbility to manage competing priorities on an ongoing basisAbility to be self-directed to complete assigned activitiesAbility to work with big teams. Strong problem identification and solving skills Strong communication skills Excel in a fast paced, dynamic environment Prior experience of working with globally distributed teams Experience in Banking domain Develops detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test cases based on functional requirements
