Description:

Develops detailed, comprehensive and well-structuredtest cases based on functional requirements

• Contributes to testplanning, and when part of a Scrum team, builds test cases forstories in the given sprint as per story acceptance criteria
• Automates the test cases in User-Interface(UI) and database usingtools like Selenium/Tosca
• Builds and uses test data required toaccomplish execution of test cases
• Executes test cases, includingmanual and automated tests, and records test results
• Test new andexisting features, debug code (units and integration) and reporterrors and failures
• Work collaboratively with the developmentteam for defect triaging
• Execute all levels of testing(Functional, Integration, and Regression)
• Design, develop,execute automation scripts
• Ownership in end-end testing
• Detectand track software defects and inconsistencies; provide timelysolutions
• Apply quality principles throughout the Agile productlifecycle with the appropriate support and documentation
• Ensurethat all the standards and process are being implemented within aprojects

Education:

Technical BA/BS (Engineering, Computer Science,Math) and a minimum of 6 years of experience 5 years of experiencein Software Testing Experience of Automaton testing using toolslike Selenium/TOSCA for UI and database. Expertise in testingUser-Interface(UI) and Database changes Working on Autosysscheduling of jobs Able to write Unix commands and execute themProven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester using SQL,Database, ETL technologies Strong experience in writing complex SQLqueries using Joins Experience with Unix Ability to document andtroubleshoot errors Working knowledge of test management software(

Ex:

qTest, Octane) Familiar with the life cycle of projects (SIT,UAT) Hands on agile experience Work collaboratively with thedevelopment team for defect triaging Excellent verbal and writtenskills, to include advanced interpersonal and proven presentationskills Ability to manage competing priorities on an ongoing basisAbility to be self-directed to complete assigned activities Abilityto work with big teams.
