Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Architect with our client in the financial industry located in Jersey City, NJ, Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract position.

Responsibilities:

Participate in performance test requirements and make sure others on task (ScrumMaster/Product Owner)
Lead performance defect triage meetings and orient towards solution
Test plan review and guidance
Performance test plan/test strategy, results review and guidance
Leverage profiling tools (i.e. dynaTrace) to analyze and define performance characteristics of an application, recommend enhancements, and trouble shoot bottlenecks
Manage an agile environment leading to solutions with little supervision

Requirements:

Prior Performance Execution experience
Ability and experience in managing a team of PT Testers
Very proficient knowledge of specific Technology in LOB space
Expert communication skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; and be able to demonstrate those skills to a varying level of internal external resources, to include senior leadership
Self-motivated and be able to detect a major concern that should be escalated to management for resolution
Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical personnel
Ability to work or lead a technical team from diversified geography and culture to complete strategic planning, mission-critical design and development work
Strong results-oriented awareness, with an optimistic and enterprising attitude
Experience in diagnosing complex technical issues
LoadRunner (VuGen), Web (UI) and Web Service protocol scripting experience at high level of expertise
Understanding of basic performance metrics: TPS, RT, Memory, GC, CPU. IO, etc.
Strong monitoring experience (Splunk, Dynatrace)
Proficient in the following tools: Dynatrace, LoadRunner/Performance Center, Splunk
JMeter experience
Python experience
Ability to lead performance efforts – project analysis, resource assignments
Ability to mobilize others in team and out for root cause analysis of issues and performance bottlenecks Pay range: $63.68 – $71.68 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
