JOB SUMMARY

The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for conducting testing on software, websites and other technical products to identify and resolve bugs, defects and other potential issues and ensure that user expectations are met during the testing process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES

Actively participate in Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Scrum Meetings and other Agile activities Work closely with development, business, and quality teams to ensure alignment for successful product releases Acting as a champion of change by modeling positive, future-focused behaviors Thoroughly regression test applications throughout the life cycle of each code release Assist the development team in identifying and accounting for technical and/or architectural complexities that may affect the design and/or performance of the digital solution Help provide a measure for effectiveness, efficiency and satisfaction of business, user, technical and brand objectives Assist the development team with translating strategic business objectives into specific product requirements Work with internal and external resources to develop in depth functional specifications for interfaces and system enhancements requested by the business Create comprehensive and detailed specification documents Consult with developers on an ongoing basis during the development cycle to ensure functionality is relevant to the current business and operational environment Act as a liaison between users and developers as required during the development cycle to ensure issues are clarified, understood and resolved Communicate with users to provide progress updates during the development cycle Develop comprehensive test cases linked to specific business requirements covering relevant business and system functionality Plan and manage end-to-end test execution for applications ensuring testing deliverables are on target and business, technical, and functional requirements are being met Ensure test plans and results are auditable and meet regulatory and quality assurance standards Conduct root cause analysis of identified defects, providing project manager with sufficient detail to understand, replicate and resolve issues Log detected defects with sufficient supporting evidence for technical investigation Maintain a log of change requests initiated by the users and developers Obtain user sign-off prior to the deployment of new or enhanced functionality to the production environment Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICTIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field 10 or more years relevant Quality Assurance technical experience Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies Advanced automation testing and AI experience Strong communication, both verbal and written, and relationship-building skills. Strong attention to detail while maintaining accurate documentation. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change when needed. Ability to work a flexible schedule. Proven ability to meet objectives. Ability to travel to company offices as required. Perform the essential functions and physical demands of the position with or without accommodation. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Prolonged periods of sitting while working on a computer. Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and handling office equipment. Ability to view computer screens for extended periods. Occasional standing, walking, and reaching within the office environment. Ability to lift and carry objects (up to 15 lbs), such as files, documents, or office supplies. Oral and auditory capacity enabling interpersonal communication as well as communication through automated devices such as the telephone. The employee is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
