Position Overview:

Project is part of the New York HBITS initiative to support the OHIP Medical Disability Eligibility Unit. Work involves testing Windows-based applications developed using Java and Oracle, deployed on Unix/Linux platforms.

Responsibilities:

Analyze and document requirements, workflows, data flows, and interfaces. Collaborate with developers and analysts on system design and gap analysis. Develop and execute test plans, cases, and scripts. Perform functional, regression, and automated testing. Use HP ALM for defect tracking. Prepare project documents and reports. Mentor State staff and facilitate knowledge transfer. Comply with DOH and GOER mandatory training requirements.

Qualifications:

7+ years testing web applications and writing functional/regression test scripts. 7+ years experience using HP ALM for defect tracking. 7+ years using performance testing tools and diverse test types. 7+ years automation testing experience. 5+ years experience with PL/SQL, SQL, Java, HTML. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
