The Position We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Quality Assurance Test Analyst with a strong focus on test script creation, execution, and regression testing to join our technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, executing, and maintaining test cases to ensure the stability and reliability of our software applications and mission critical systems. You will work closely with developers, project managers, and analysts to identify and resolve issues before deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, execute, and maintain manual regression test cases to validate software functionality after new development, updates, and bug fixes. Identify, document, and track defects using a test management tool. Collaborate with developers and business teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage. Perform functional, UI, and integration testing as part of regression cycles. Ensure test environments and datasets are set up properly for regression testing. Participate in test planning, requirement analysis, and sprint meetings. Provide detailed reports on test execution, defects, and software quality metrics. Support root cause analysis of defects to improve overall product stability. Continuously improve testing processes, documentation, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. 1-3 years of experience in manual QA testing with a focus on regression testing. 1-3 years of experience testing applications within the Django/Python web framework. Experience with at least one Python-based automated web testing framework (Selenium, Playwright). Experience with Case Management solutions. Front-end and back-end testing. Strong understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and QA methodologies. Experience working with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail). Ability to create clear and concise test cases, test plans, and defect reports. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Basic understanding of SQL for validating test data. Experience with API testing and tools.
