Senior QA Engineer Position Available In Montgomery, Pennsylvania

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QE Engineer specializingin Automation and Performance Testing to join our dynamicengineering team. In this role, you will lead efforts to design,implement, and maintain robust test automation frameworks andperformance testing strategies. You will collaborate closely withdevelopers, product managers, and other QE engineers to ensure thedelivery of high-quality, scalable, and performant softwareproducts. What You’ll Be Doing:

• Designing, developing, and maintainingscalable and reusable test automation frameworks for UI, API, andintegration testing.
• Writing and executing automated test scriptsusing tools like WebdriverIO, K6 or Gatling
• Developing andexecuting performance testing strategies using tools like JMeter,SpeedScale or Gatling.
• Analyzing performance test results andcollaborating with development teams to identify and resolvebottlenecks.
• Leading test efforts by assigning tasks, runningstatus meetings, and participating in sprint planning.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align testingstrategies with business goals and ensure high-quality releases.
• Driving improvements in test coverage across unit, functional, andload tests.
• Identifying, tracking, and resolving software defectsusing tools like Jira or AWS DevOps.
• Mentoring junior QEengineers in best practices for automation and performance testing.
• Staying updated on industry trends and advocating for processimprovements to enhance the software development lifecycle.

What WeAre Looking For:

• Extensive experience developing test automationframeworks and performance testing strategies.
• Proficiency withautomation tools like WebDriverIO, Playwright, Protractor.
• Hands-on experience with performance testing tools like K6, JMeteror Gatling.
• Strong programming skills in languages like ,TypeScript, JavaScript
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines andexperience integrating automation with tools like Jenkins or GitHubActions.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and QEprocesses.
• Proven ability to debug complex issues and collaborateeffectively with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree inComputer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalentexperience).

Bonus if

You Have:

• Experience scaling large webapplications and maintaining high availability services
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerizationtools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of E-Commerce andsubscription systems
• Experience with AWS is desirable
• Knowledgeor experience of E-Commerce systems, Product Information Management(PIM) solutions
• Working experience with ElasticSearch
• Familiarwith third-party backend API integrations
• ISTQB or similar QEcertifications.
• Experience with Netlify environments
