System 6 is an internally developed and supported insurancesystem for processing insurance products and policies aimed atindividuals and families worldwide. As a Quality Assurance Engineerwith System 6, you will be a member of a team of skilled technicalprofessionals across the globe who are responsible for thedevelopment and maintenance of the system. These professionals area mix of Chubb employees in the US, Singapore, and India, as wellas contractors from third-party vendors. This role is suitable fora seasoned Quality Assurance professional possessing technicalexpertise and a proven track record working with small to mediumsize development teams. The Quality Assurance Engineer is expectedto not only develop comprehensive test cases, but also demonstratea proactive approach to innovation and process improvement withinthe software testing life cycle. The System 6 team works in afast-paced environment, developing and supporting a complex systemthat’s used daily by over 50 countries globally. This positionrequires the ability to work and communicate efficiently andeffectively amidst a constantly shifting landscape of requests andpriorities. You will be expected to show a high degree of personalinitiative and the capacity to work independently. At the sametime, being open to feedback and collaboration with a tight-knitteam is critical to success in this role. Responsibilities Developand execute manual and automated test cases to ensure softwarequality. Collaborate with developers and product managers toidentify potential risks and improve testing strategies. Implementand maintain test automation scripts using Selenium or otherframeworks. Conduct regression testing, smoke testing, and systemintegration testing. Document, track, and prioritize defects,working closely with the development team to resolve issues.

Perform functional, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).Assist in the creation, iterative development, and maintenance ofautomated deployment models (DevOps, CI/CD pipeline). Work withcross-functional teams to ensure high-quality product delivery.

Bachelor’s degree required. 10 – 15 years in a technical QAengineering position. Experience with automation frameworks likeSelenium, Cypress, or Playwright. Proficiency in programminglanguages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation.

Proficiency in API testing tools like Postman, SoapUI, or similarplatforms. Hands-on experience with RESTful and SOAP services,including creating and executing test cases for API endpoints.

Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter orLoadRunner. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkinsor GitLab CI. Strong grasp of SDLC and STLC (Software DevelopmentLife Cycle & Software Testing Life Cycle). Experience with versioncontrol systems like Git. Experience with issue and projecttracking software like Jira. Experience with Azure/cloud-basedsolutions a plus. Chubb is a world leader in insurance.
