Quality Control Specialist IV Position Available In Charleston, South Carolina

ECS is seeking a Quality Control Specialist IV to work in our North Charleston, SC office.

This position is contingent upon contract award. The Quality Control Specialist IV ensures software and services meet predefined quality standards before being released into production. They work in software development, performing inspections, tests, and data analysis to identify deviations from established standards. Their role involves implementing quality control procedures, collaborating with other departments to address quality issues, and proposing improvements to streamline processes. Ten (10)+ years professional experience solving technical problems. Trained in the skills and techniques related to engineering and/or software design/maintenance. Possess a practical understanding of engineering concepts. Ensures that the product/service and process meet quality and safety standards. Experience includes testing equipment, systems, networks, communications infrastructure/configuration, or applications to make sure that the process operates effectively and safely. Individual shall be able to interpret plans and drawings and contribute to the design and fabrication of test specimens. Should have experience in computer aided drafting (CAD), ability to prepare shop drawings for model construction, and be familiar with material specifications and fabrication methods. Five (5)+ years of experience designing architecture, infrastructure, and/or custom applications in support of cyber security, information assurance, information technology, or medical data requirements. Three (3)+ years of this experience must be in support of defense health requirements. TS/SCI clearance
