We are seeking an experienced Test Engineer to support our growing communications system business within the technology systems market. This position can be based in either Columbia, MD or Coppell, TX.
Your tasks
Deploy and test IP based voice communications systems.
Support development of test plans according to program requirements.
Create and execute test cases.
Generate test reports, problem/defect reports, mitigation plans.
Work with design team to maintain verification requirements traceability matrix (VRTM).
Work closely with the engineering teams based in Europe and North America.

Your qualifications
B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or relevant engineering degree.
Systems test experience with good understanding of execution of test programs.
Configuring and analyzing VoIP networks, computing infrastructure, software deployments.
Proficient in relevant business tools including MS Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint.
Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Linux (Oracle), VM’s.
Excellent technical writing skills.
Proactive, analytical, detail-oriented and self-managed.
Comfortable working in a team and without formal direction.
Ability to travel for installs and acceptance testing throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe, up to 50%.
US citizen capable of receiving a US Government security clearance.
