JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with technical teams and business users to gather and document requirements for Salesforce projects. Design and implement comprehensive test plans to ensure the quality and functionality of Salesforce applications. Create and execute detailed test cases, scripts, and data sets for testing Salesforce functionalities. Identify and recommend improvements within existing workflows based on thorough business analysis. Conduct various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Document test results and work closely with developers to resolve any defects. Provide training sessions for end-users on new features or enhancements in Salesforce.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field with 5-7 years’ experience.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Proficient in using the Salesforce platform, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud etc. Experience with software testing tools is preferred but not mandatory if strong manual testing skills are demonstrated. Knowledgeable about SQL queries and database concepts. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Ability to conduct requirement gathering sessions via workshops/interviews, documenting action items. Relevant experience in both QA and BA roles, preferably within Salesforce projects. Proficient knowledge of Salesforce and its various uses.
SOFT SKILLS REQUIRED
Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical skills capable of interpreting complex data sets into actionable insights. Excellent communication skills enabling effective interaction between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders alike. Ability to work independently and manage one’s time. Basic mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback. Strong communication skills with business users. Strong collaboration with team members. Ability to learn and apply new knowledge quickly.
