Diversified Gas & Oil Corporation (DGOC) is an established owner and operator of producing conventional and unconventional natural gas & oil wells and midstream pipelines and compression stations concentrated in the Appalachian Basin in the United States. Headquartered in Birmingham, AL, our field operations are located throughout the Appalachian Basin in the states of Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. In 2021, Diversified announced our expansion into our Central Regional Focus Area, which includes producing areas within Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.

Responsibilities:

Location:

Remote/Hybrid when not traveling to acquisition or corporate sites across the country•. As a member of the Acquisition Team the Scada Analyst will be focused on integrating new and existing assets into DEC standards-based Cygnet systems. The SCADA Analyst will be responsible for developing methods and tools to support efficient integrations of various asset types from various Scada systems into a standards-based Cygnet Scada system. Work will often be deadline driven and you will be expected to work with a wide variety of source systems and equipment types. This is not a Cygnet Admin role. The focus of this role is integration, capitol Project or backlog projects that deliver value while maintaining the scalability and uniformity of the systems. Completed work will be documented and transitioned to regional Scada admin teams. Special focus will be placed on: Utilizing programming skills to develop applications Build processes and tools to aid with system migration Leveraging tools to increase efficiency of facility builds and data migration. Verify and maintain SCADA data integrity Support DEC’s Acquisition team with integrating SCADA system into DEC’s standard SCADA, Application, Documentation and support SCADA standard development. Any other job-related duty as deemed appropriate by management.

Qualifications:

Associate degree in Information Technology/Systems, EE or equivalent preferred. Bachelor’s Degree preferred 4+ years’ experience in oil/gas Cygnet SCADA, supporting upstream or midstream operations. Proficient in Microsoft software with advanced computer skills (programming, database, networks). Strong technical knowledge of Cygnet software Experience with other SCADA applications Wonderware, clear SCADA, OASyS, Ignition, iFix, etc. Technical knowledge of database systems, including SQL queries & report building Programming. Experience in VB, C# or similar. Familiarity with electronic meters and various remote monitoring devices. Familiarity with communication protocols, radios, and networking. Strong customer service, analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate both written and verbally. Ability to travel to Field and Corporate offices up to 20% as needed.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:

Work in this position is primarily based in an office where there is no exposure to extreme hot/cold temperatures which is well-lit and relatively free from dangerous working conditions. The base pay range for this position is $120,000 – $135,000/yr. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s qualifications, location, experience, and alignment with the job requirements. The range listed is just one component of Diversified Energy’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and short- and long-term incentives .
