Business Systems Analyst Brindlee Fire Services Huntsville, AL 35801 Position Summary The Business Systems Analyst combines business analysis with hands-on development and configuration, working at the intersection of business process and technical implementation. This role works closely with stakeholders across the organization to design, build, and support scalable system solutions with a strong focus on NetSuite and Salesforce. Position Essential Functions Provide end-user application support and troubleshoot issues related to business systems Contribute to continuous Improvement by identifying automation opportunities and suggesting enhancements Support testing, training, and deployment of new features and system updates Maintain thorough documentation of system configurations and business process changes Translate business needs into clear system specifications, process flows, and technical solutions Participate in system design discussions and recommend scalable, efficient solutions Develop and configure system enhancements, workflows, scripts, or integrations, particularly in NetSuite and Salesforce Partner with developers, QA, and other technology team members to ensure solution alignment with business objectives Assist with data analysis, reporting, and system Integrations as needed Position Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field preferred Experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role with both analysis and technical responsibilities Hands-on experience with NetSuite (SuiteScript, workflows, customizations) and/or Salesforce (flows, process builder, custom objects, reporting) Familiarity with scripting or programming languages such as JavaScript, SQL, or Python is a plus Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, recycles, and agile methodologies Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with technical teams and business stakeholders Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking with attention to detail Position Conditions Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
