Job Title:
- Configuration Management Specialist – Senior This position is contingent upon award. A secret security clearance is required.

Job Responsibilities:
- Configuration Management Specialist will provide direct support to the US Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM). Assist in the development, design and tracking of various configurations including software, drawings, and work processes and instructions.
- This includes all configuration management planning documentation and procedures.
- Responsible for the integrity of all authorized releases of changes of said configurations. Primary duties will include (but not limited to):
- Provides subject matter advice and guidance on CM best practice methods, standards, and requirements.
- Monitors and manages corrective action plans and implements process improvement responses.
- Tracks and releases documentation change requests (DCR), Performs initial reviews of new work requests and acquires available technical manuals, drawings, schematics, or other supporting documents,
- Develops, maintains, and implements CM process standards, plans, and procedures.
- Ensures changes to process methods and processes are properly approved, communicated, and managed,
- Manages and releases approved workbooks, work procedures, drawings, and schematics for current work to be performed by production,
- Tracks, manages, and reports the status of customer work requests.
- Assists leadership in determining cost, labor, and materials required to perform new work based on documentation obtained during the initial CM review of work requests,
- Maintains current and historical configurations of product documentation of work released for production.
- Work with customers to develop Technical Data Packages.
- Work with an Operations Team to develop work procedures and workbooks.
- Perform Product Validation Audits and Process Validation Audits as required.
- Must be diverse and able to fill other roles or duties as needed or assigned.
- Must be able to perform editorial and quality assurance support for documents, data, training materials, and reports generated to support engineers and technical personnel,
- Perform technical evaluations and request Notice of Revisions (NORs), Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Requests for Waiver (RFWs), and Requests for Deviation (RFDs).
- Computer skills including the MS Suite of programs.
- Adhere to the company’s AS9100 and quality policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
