Functional Analyst – US Citizen and able to obtain a Secret Clearance is Required. Our work depends on Functional Analyst joining our team as a functional analyst and expert for a Computerized Maintenance Management System being developed in Montgomery, utilizing the IBM Maximo Asset Management platform.

HOW A FUNCTIONAL ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Working with users to document requirements, designing/customizing screens to meet those requirements, developing user documentation, testing the system to ensure requirements are meet, and supporting implementation of the completed system. Implementation responsibilities include the migration of data from legacy systems, training users, and providing on-site support as well as help desk support. Work closely with other analysts and programming personnel to meet customer requirements.

DAY-TO-DAY JOB DUTIES

Analyze user needs to determine functional requirements for a wide variety of projects. Perform functional allocations to identify tasks and their inter-relationships. Research, identify, and assist in the formulation of recommendations about resources required for task execution and completion. Participate in the development of new business areas or updates to existing systems to meet client needs. Create or update applications based on requirements using the Maximo front end tools for screen and database development. Identify and recommend emerging relevant technologies that may result in improvements to current processes and systems. Write and update project documentation including system procedures and training materials. Conduct functional testing of various systems. Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies and subject areas. Participate in special projects as required. Provide on-site support as needed by the customer. Provide training support and help desk support for the end users either on site or via TEAMS or other video conferencing tools.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
    Education:

    Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science. 2+ Years of experience

      Security Clearance Level:

      Able to obtain a Secret clearance

        Required Skills and Abilities:

        Basic SQL knowledge

          Preferred Skills:

          IBM Maximo experience and/or understanding of asset and maintenance management a plus

            This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
