Mid-level Product management 1 year Product lifecycle management Full Job Description Drive the end-to-end process for Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) ensuring proper documentation, thorough review, formal approval, and timely communication across all relevant stakeholders. Execute and implement change notices with precision, validating the completion of all change implementation activities, including meticulous updates to Engineering and Bills of Materials (BOMs), and accurately setting effectivity for changes. Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain teams to understand proposed design changes, assess their impacts, and ensure seamless integration. Conduct comprehensive impact assessments to identify potential risks, dependencies, and implications of proposed product changes, working proactively with stakeholders to develop effective mitigation strategies. Perform regular audits of configuration management processes, data, and documentation to ensure strict compliance with internal standards, industry best practices (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001) and government regulations. Maintain records, control and distribute all controlled product data and documentation ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and traceability. Develop and deliver training programs for engineering teams and other relevant personnel to foster a deep understanding of configuration management principles and associated tools and promoting consistent compliance. Identify opportunities for process enhancements within configuration management contributing to the development and implementation of more efficient and robust practices. Performs additional tasks as assigned by the reporting manager. 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in Product Configuration Management, including expertise in product structure definition, configuration identification, Bill of Materials (BOM) management, and managing complex configuration structures (assemblies, components, etc.). 1-3 years of direct experience in configuration management within the aerospace or manufacturing industry is required. Proven experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and/or Product Data Management (PDM) tools. Specific experience with systems such as made2Manage, SAP, CimDB or similar is highly valued.
